How do I fix Logitech G Hub not detecting my mouse?

Unplug the mouse and plug it back in using a different USB port, it should re-enumerate and be detected in G-HUB, G hub should download the driver for your specific device..

Head to the device manager and select the mouse option to see if there is an issue with the mouse driver. You will see a small yellow icon on your mouse under the mice and other pointing devices menu. Right-click, select properties, and then press update driver in the driver tab. Select the automatic update option

If this does not work, then you have the option to update your mouse driver manually. Select the mouse, right-click on it and then click on properties; click the update driver button in the driver tab. This time you will select the browse my computer option instead of the automatic search option.

Once you have done that, you need to find the driver. You can typically find it in the program files of your C drive. The folder that you are looking for is going to be called LGHUB. Select this folder and then press the next button. Be sure to check the include subfolders box so that you do not have to specify the subfolder.

Once the wizard has done its job, the yellow icon on your mouse name should be gone, resolving your issues. I recommend that you restart your PC once you have updated the driver to ensure that everything works properly.

Why is my Logitech mouse not being detected?

If the mouse is wired and the wire has any rips bends, or twists, the software is getting a weak connection to the mouse. The ports may be rusted or bent, needing to be replaced. If it’s wireless, then the batteries might need charging or replacing. Try a different USB port and update your drivers

If you are using a gaming mouse that is wireless, then it is going to consume power and drain the battery. The batteries are going to drain much faster if the mouse has RGB lighting. You can always increase the battery life of your wireless mouse by turning off the RGB lighting, the mouse is not going to look as good, but the battery life is going to get a significant boost.

We often forget to charge our devices and that can be true for your mouse too. If you are using rechargeable batteries, then be sure to charge your mouse; otherwise you can replace the batteries.

You should also check the mouse cord if you are using a wired one. Check for sharp bends or tears; this could mean that your mouse wire is damaged, and that is why the software is not detecting the mouse. If that is indeed the case, you can try getting it repaired, or it might be time for a new mouse.

Sometimes, changing the USB port is all it takes for a device to show up and be detected by the software. Ensure that your Windows, software, and drivers are up to date so that the software can work well with the hardware.
