All games pass games or games you purchased on the Microsoft Store will work on the Xbox Series X. Even Xbox One games downloaded on an external hard drive will work on the Xbox Series X without requiring a download.

You can see in the above video I had OuterWorlds downloaded on my external hard drive from my Xbox One, and it booted up just fine on my Xbox Series S. It will be the same for the Series X.
